"In November 1962, two mothers met over a cup of coffee to explore the possibilities of establishing a school for their children. They started knocking on doors and soon located more than a dozen parents who joined in their efforts. By February 1963, officers and board members were elected and in October 1963, we were officially incorporated as a not-for-profit corporation."
